It will be an opportunity for suppliers to showcase their products and services through display stands and in the demonstration arena. The event organisers have partnered with Eskom, Department of Human Settlements, Builders Warehouse and the City of Joburg to ensure that the event brings real value to consumers.
"The event is targeted at DIY enthusiasts, home-builders, families planning to renovate their homes, first-time home-buyers, property investors, and consumers shopping for new furniture, kitchen appliances, and home electronics," says event director, Thembelani Tukwayo. "The Soweto Home Building and Renovation Show will allow consumers to browse products and brands across a variety of categories. It will also be an opportunity for government services to connect with consumers making use of basic municipal services like water and electricity.
"A face-to-face event like this gives you the chance to interact directly with DIY enthusiasts, builders, renovators, decorators and shoppers looking for furniture, appliances and general building material," says Tukwayo.
