NEWSWATCH: It appears that the Free State government's control over news and information in that province is growing, reports Mail & Guardian, while BD Live reports that the Department of Communications is aiming for 100% broadband coverage by 2020.

    And we are expected to believe that the "tell-it-like-it-is" critical reporting of the premier and the provincial government will continue?

  • BD Live: Broadband is top priority for Department of Communications... That's good news, but there are challenges... a lack of skills and competencies, lack of infrastructure and cost.

    To benefit business and the people of this country as it should, broadband's cost should be affordable - and that means a great cheaper than it is now.
