The Mafikeng-based Setswana radio station has also announced that it will not be renewing contracts of the other Phologolo ya monatenate, Tshepo Maseko and Dimakatso Thoba, who co-present the Sunday religious show Tumelo-ya-Gago.
The Isidingo actor, Maseko presented the Saturday 10am to 2pm show.
"The SABC has accepted their (Matshaba and Masito's) resignations after their on-air resignations last Wednesday and we will not be renewing their contracts. Lebo Leabile, who presents the midday slot, will now present the PM drive show with Sammy 'Sammy Fever' Mashabane and Mokupi Molebatsi will now present the midday slot," says SABC group spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago.
He says Lesego Lekgetho will take over the 2am to 6pm show that was presented by Molebatsi, adding that a temporary replacement for the slot presented by Maseko would be announced shortly.
"These are temporary measures until Motsweding FM finds replacements for the shows. This was in line with the station's decision not to have dual presentations for weekend programming," said Kganyago.
He also said the station will unveil its new line-up at the end of March 2009, together with the other SABC radio stations.
