Introducing the outside-in customer experience
Absolutely agree with Dibeehi's article. In today's world, service is synonymous with cost efficiencies which ultimately result in disenfranchised customers. Why? Many service providers do not understand the fundamental differences between delivering 'customer service' which is often focussed on a repeatable rote service and creating service perceptions often tied to SLA metrics. Whereas on the other hand, a true 'customer experience' is memorable for the customer, making them 'feel good' which establishes confidence and trust in the customer to come back for more and even sing the praises of that organisation. They feel that the service provider 'gets it/them'. Whilst there maybe SLA targets, this is not the focus but rather a true understanding of the customer's needs, their business and developing a relationship of trust that ultimately creates confidence in the customer's experience of the service and a 'feel good' factor which results in referrals and wanting to come back for more.

Blurred lines... how the vicious internet is creating a vicious world
It’s my Short experience. A friend of mine did the Detox and Cleanse diet and recommended it to me 3 weeks ago. This stuff is amazing! My best friend Jessica did the same diet and lost an incredible amount of weight. i couldn't believe it and had to do some research on my own which is how I found this news article. I can't believe they are offering bonus trials! I know Jessica spent something like $600 and was thrilled. Imagine how excited she would be if it cost her under $60.00. This is a godsend, thanks so much!!Product Details Here

The Open Window School of Visual Communication - 2013
Great picture and I am sure that it will help many of us to find information needed for educational issues. And surely it is very complicated to hold all the info by handy every time you may need it. For example because I have big problems with looking for resources.

[Trends 2015] Convergence marketing
Appreciate your thought, and I think it's just semantics. 'Convergence' is one of those words that has had a specificity attached to it in recent times so it may feel off here, but if we just get down to the brass tacks - it's about being joined up :-)

Taking sales training out of the classroom
I've always thought (OJT) On The Job Training was always better than classroom work or study. When it comes to selling , I've always found it better to show the new Agent instead of telling them.

The death of SEO and the rise of Optimisation
It gets increasingly tiresome this continual harping on about the 'death of seo'! You are correct that it is changing, evolving, adapting to new technologies. It always has done. Of course, there has been and probably still will be some who will attempt to game the system but as in the past they will be eventually found out and penalised. You say, with some surprise or even disappointment, that "this gave rise to the trade of SEO and to black hat SEO, and required that Search Engines such as Google, continuously evolve the criteria to rank websites as most relevant". It is not surprising; it is the way evolution works, - it's an 'arms race' and it drives both benefits and developmment.I agree, in principle, on the objectives of SEO, ie achieving higher and even page 1 rankings but disagree that was the primary and even only objective of carrying it out.As far as I am concerned SEO is only 1 side of a 'multi-sided' coin and always has been and don't agree with the statement, "true measurement of success in 2015 is Optimisation". The true measurement of success is achieving the goals and objectives and the reason for carrying out the work in the first place. CRO is one of the other sides of the coin and as you highlight, base visitor numbers are in themselves meaningless. The important measure is the conversion rate which is more likely to be a better starting point than any attempt to drive 'more' traffic. The KPIs/metrics outlined are a measure of how successful these tactics are in achieving these objectives. Improving conversion rates is 'easier', less costly and provides a far quicker return on investment.'Content is King', hackneyed phrase as it is, always has been and always will be of primary importance and the current focus on 'content marketing' is just another way of saying the same thing.

How to advertise to teenagers and young adults
Hi Chris, Was great to read this article. Some of the points raised I feel need a bit more qualification in their statement. As the project manager on TEEN ZONE and HYPE which are brands positioned to the future forward generation in SA, I have to say that the solution is not just digital. TEEN ZONE saw a 40 % magazine circulation increase over 2014. That disqualifies the blanket statement of teens not reading magazines. Hype magazine with post grad institutes is the most credible lifestyle for Loxion Dreamers. If a magazine has a strong connection to its audience and is relevant, I believe it is going to deliver better than any other medium to teens. We are a sold monthly magazine and a hub where the teen community of trend setters love our magazine.I think it would be fair to say that the only sold consumer teen magazine is TEEN ZONE with others in its category having closed down.We believe that the always on consumer must be reached through a 360 solution and that is what these brands do best.ThanksAngela

Why your small business should be making use of SEO
Superb read Sophie. Really accurate in my opinion.Just to answer Jean Pierre question. Old fashion link building is dead, such as poor directory listings, blog spamming and the like, very often this will have a negative effect on your websites ranking. However, quality link building is still of benefit, yet this should come naturally to a degree. If you create content that is useful and informative, people will want to share this, across blogs, social media, forums etc. Thus doing the link building for you.

Buyer Beware
[Orchids & Onions] Home truths win hearts, but snake oil and puffery get thumbs down
About the Duster ad, I can only echo what I found on Hubpages: "Men have become tired of negative portrayals of males in the media, and even some women are starting to speak out against this, as the women's roles in these ads is not flattering either. Here is the simple rule: If the male/female roles in the ad were reversed, would there be outrage? If yes, then the ad is sexist, male-bashing or discriminatory." Male bashing really is so last season.
