MICSA 2018, which is set to take place from 14-18 May 2018, at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria, will be held under the theme 'ICT as a military capability'.

“The aim of MICSSA 2018 is to continue the tradition of building on the opportunity of promoting information and communications related development between the Defence Community, Government and Industry; local and international. MICSSA provides the platform where ideas, strategies, requirements and potential solutions can be shared and discussed,” said the South African National Defence Force (SANDF).

Professor Basie von Solms, research professor in the Academy for Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Johannesburg and Hemoed-Römer Heitman, South African author and military analyst will take to the podium to discuss the management of military ICT.
