FCB Durban and Farmer Brown make enjoying chicken easier

After an absence of approximately 16 years, Farmer Brown is back on television. FCB Durban's new Farmer Brown television campaign recently broke, with two new commercials featuring Farmer Brown Easybraai and Easyserve - two exciting ranges destined to change the chicken market forever.
FCB Durban and Farmer Brown make enjoying chicken easier

The first commercial sees a group of friends enjoying a braai at the hosts' house. They are interrupted by a farmer who casually strolls up to the braai and turns over the Easybraai chicken.

The voice over says "if it was any easier, we would have to turn it for you" reinforcing the easiness of cooking this new product. Never again will consumers experience burnt or undercooked chicken (which needs a mere 15 minutes to braai).

The second commercial shows a Dad receiving instructions from his wife (who is still at work) on what to prepare for dinner. He is a little anxious when she tells him to prepare a roast chicken. He goes to the fridge and is pleasantly surprised to find a pack of Farmer Brown Easyserve chicken.

His relief is interrupted by the sound of the doorbell, which he goes to answer - still clutching the phone and the Easyserve pack. He opens the door and is greeted by a Farmer who opens the Easyserve pack and leaves, whilst the voice over says "if it was any easier, we would have to open it for you".

Directed by Jeremy Goodall from Suburban Films, the campaign is the work of FCB Group Executive Creative Director Ashley Bacon and his creative team of Copywriter Brandon Govender and Art Director Felix Schmitz at FCB Durban.
