Less spendy, more weekendy! CLHG Level 2 leisure travel update

The Weekend Special starts on Friday, 21 August 2020 and is valid for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, applicable for one or two persons per room per night for room only (breakfast charged separately), when booking via direct channels including telephone, walk-in, email or on www.clhg.com.

Rates are as follows:

  • Fairview Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya from $149
  • Courtyard Hotels from R999 per night
  • City Lodge Hotels from R799
  • Town Lodges from R749

The special is subject to rate availability and may change without prior notice, and the offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other specials or negotiated rates.

Lindiwe Sangweni-Siddo, City Lodge Hotels Group chief operating officer, says: “We share the tourism industry’s delight and relief that we are now able to open our hotels for business and leisure guests, as travellers are now able to move across provincial lines and take that much needed holiday. As we shake off the cabin fever of lockdown and move to Level 2 restrictions, it’s time to rediscover our beautiful country. We believe weekends aren’t for working, they’re for living! City Lodge Hotel Group has launched a nationwide Weekend Special, offering affordable rates that make weekends away possible once again. All of our hotels have been audited for Covid-19 protocols, and our friendly staff are ready to welcome you in a safe and responsible way.”

Travellers may be assured that the group continues to uphold the strictest hygiene and sanitisation protocols across its operations, from front to back of house, eliminating the risk of the spread of Covid-19 to staff or guests (summary on www.clhg.com). In addition, stringent food and beverage protocols ensure a varied offering with the same safe preparation, handling and serving standards in place.
