Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, was chosen to design the 27-hole championship golf course and, when he flew into the country, LM&P pulled out all the stops to ensure VIP's, the press and a TV crew were there to cover his first site visit on 25 February.

Despite the short notice, dignitaries including Duma Nkosi, the Executive Mayor of Ekurhuleni, and a large contingent of print and television press were present to meet The Bear on the site of his first signature golf course in Gauteng. The conference was flighted by SABC3's The Golf Bag on Saturday 4 March at 07:00.
