Fives Futbol and British Consul inspire local community kids
On Saturday, 5 April, Fives Futbol and the British High Commission, the HMS Portland British Naval Ship held a community outreach event while docked at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
Community organisations, Grassroot Soccer and Oasis, brought underprivileged youth to the docks to participate in a guided tour of the battleship and to see a simulator of the Bloodhound, a British-designed car that will attempt to break 1000 mph in the Karoo next year.
