Job description

Are you a natural connector, strategic thinker, and relationship builder with a passion for growing brands and winning new business? We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Account Executive to join our team and take ownership of driving growth through innovative client solutions and exceptional service delivery.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in identifying new opportunities, leading pitches, and crafting compelling proposals that speak to client needs. At the same time, you’ll manage key accounts with a focus on delivering impactful campaigns and nurturing long-term relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and measurable results.



1. New business development

  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow business with new and existing clients.
  • Drive and lead pitches, assist strategy teams, and collaborate with creatives to deliver compelling concepts.
  • Set up and manage potential client profiles and maintain a proactive pipeline of prospects.
  • Participate in the development of the company’s strategic plans with a focus on revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new revenue streams or services.


2. Solutions crafting

  • Develop and implement tailored account strategies that align with client objectives and business goals.
  • Work closely with strategy and creative teams to translate client briefs into actionable solutions.
  • Take accountability for crafting proposals and budgets with creativity and commercial insight.
  • Create end-to-end process flows for each campaign/project to ensure structured delivery.
  • Innovate and refine operational systems and campaign frameworks for continuous improvement.


3. Client relationship management

  • Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with key clients through regular engagement and value delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing needs, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present proposals, feedback reports, and campaign reviews to clients.
  • Develop customer profiles and use insights to better anticipate client needs and market trends.
  • Represent the agency in client-facing situations with professionalism and strategic thinking.


4. Operational execution and project management

  • Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of client campaigns across timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure all campaign deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to client expectations.
  • Monitor and review project activities and adjust execution plans to meet timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups with team members to ensure smooth running of projects.
  • Ensure alignment of project delivery with internal policies, procedures, and quality standards.


5. Commercial viability

  • Achieve and manage gross profit targets across assigned accounts.
  • Control budgets and expenses to ensure profitability and financial sustainability of projects.
  • Monitor commercial performance, identifying and addressing deviations promptly.
  • Coach and mentor team members in financial discipline and cost-effective project execution.
  • Ensure that all proposals and solutions are commercially viable and aligned with client budget parameters.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proven track record in account management and new business acquisition.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a results-driven approach.

Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in client services, preferably in a marketing/advertising agency.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading client accounts and cross-functional teams.


Leadership and people development
  • Manage, coach, and develop the account and project management teams for high performance.
  • Recruit, train, and guide team members on best practices, professional skills, and job-related competencies.
  • Set clear KPIs for team members and oversee performance reviews and continuous feedback.
  • Foster a harmonious and motivated team environment that promotes collaboration and accountability.
