Multiple new client gains for MBP Jhb

The Johannesburg bureau of Marcus Brewster Publicity has recorded a bumper second quarter 2004 fuelled by several significant account gains.

New clients include Getty Images, the worldwide supply bank network of creative imaging to the advertising, film and entertainment industries; Calibre Clinical Consulting, SA's leading managed healthcare provider specialising in managing HIV AIDS patients on behalf of large corporations and healthcare funds; and Texet, a new device that stores cellphone SIM card memory outside the handset so data is saved in case the cell is lost or stolen.

In the hospitality arena, MBP Jhb has signed Karma Korporate, the restaurant chain which includes the three Karma eateries and Swahili, the new East African seafood venue in Sandton; Nite Fever in Fourways and Billy the Bums, the cocktail and dining spot owned by Neil McKenzie, Joe van Niekerk and Bob Skinstad.

In addition, Brewster's Celebrity division now also represents gospel recording artist Riel Malan and transformation consultant Clifford Matthews.

CEO Marcus Brewster predicts that a record-setting third quarter is projected for the Gauteng bureau based on projects due to be signed during July.
