After four years of study at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Andre kicked-off his career as a Junior Graphic Designer at a small start-up agency.
He advanced his career through hard work, consistent self-development, determination and invaluable opportunities - from Junior to Senior Designer, and currently Art Director of 32 National Shopping Centres across South Africa, 10 Corporate Accounts and 2 Corporate Social Investment Initiatives at Mustard Seed Relationship Marketing CC, an ad agency, focussing primarily on retail marketing & advertising.
As a lifelong learner with an insatiable curiosity and hunger for knowledge, he has a passion for advertising & design and a believer in big ideas, crafted beautifully. He is a copy-loving, ideas-driven conceptual designer who aims to consistently push boundaries.
His commitment and resolve resulted in 12 years of industry experience in several organisations, specialising in a wide range of principles. This includes (but not limited to): Conceptualising of strategic integrated TTL campaigns across multiple platforms, POS, Experiential, CI, Social Media, Print & Digital activations and collateral for luxury, lifestyle, retail, fashion, FMCG, JSE-listed private and corporate investment portfolios.
Awards include: Adreach Fikelela Award (Fourways Crossing Refurb Campaign), Gold SACSC Footprint Award 2015 (NuMiracle CSI Campaign), Hot Mustard Award 2015 (In-house), Silver SACSC Footprint Award (Longbeach Mall's #1 Campaign).
