Barry Clemens is European trained with over 20 years of experience. He has acquired a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality and retail industries. He is a seasoned hospitality professional with an in-depth understanding of the European and Southern African Markets. Barry has represented world leading companies such as Le Meridien, Marriot, Dutch Bilderberg Group and The Grand Krasnapolsky, where his scope varied from marketing to executive management. His capabilities range from managing of large projects as well as a pre-opening skills set to managing of multi outlet/faceted establishments. As an executive in the industry he has a vast understanding of service excellence, budgeting and cost control, hence increasing bottom lines. He is currently the CEO of EQ Business Solutions, which focuses on hospitality, retail management and consulting services. Motivation and training of a (multi cultural) team is second nature to Barry which stems from his passion, turned career, as qualified business & life coach.

1. Being selected as a judge for the official South African Tourism awards
2. Receiving several nominations for prestigious international accommodation awards for properties I managed.
3. Serving on tourism executive committees
4. Successfully turning properties around that weren't profitable for many years. Whilst improving service delivery and standards.
