Show profile Hide profileI specialize in comic book art but I'm an all round creative. I'm an art director, illustrator, colourist and digital painter. I'm also the Co-Developer of the Kwezi Comic (South Africa's first Black Super hero) as well as the Art director on Supa Strikas comic books. Having a bit of a geek streak, I find I have a bit of an encyclopedic knowledge of comics, I loves gaming, pop culture and I have a background in martial arts. I'm strongly invested in developing literacy developing literacy at grassroots levels and I've been a Literacy Ambassador at the South African Book-fair in 2017 and been involved in talks and presentations at various schools in Cape Town and Johannesburg. This year I've also been involved in Book Dash with the goal of bringing more books to young children. I'm very involved in the comic book community and have spoken on numerous panels at various events. My goal is to inspire and build a viable comic book infrastructure for future artist in South Africa.
