- Analyse and review of income and expenditure recording processes.
- Interact with internal and external auditors to ensure availability of information and supporting documentation as per requirement.

- Respond to financial and audit queries by gathering, analysing, summarising and interpreting data.
- Review and distribute monthly management reports prepared by the accountant to relevant sectional manager within agreed time.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements relating to financial control, financial management and accounting.
- Ensure appropriate external audit arrangements are in place and manage the audit process.
- Ensure that all balance sheet reconciliations are produced on an accurate and timely basis to include bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors and VAT, PAYE, Pension, Medical aid, Net salaries, etc.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to finance policies, procedures and systems across all teams.
- Mentor finance employees and train, where required, as back-ups in the case of emergencies.
