I have written for newspapers and magazines since I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and History in 1993. I write travel articles, news, profiles, and lifestyle articles. I also proof-read on a freelance basis.

After I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and History, I started writing for The Bugle Regional Lifestyle Magazine where I was also sub-editor and proof-reader, and today provide travel articles, reports and advertorials on a freelance basis. In addition I have written for Life&Style magazine and GetIt, based in Ballito, KZN, and for five years wrote articles including travel, news and profiles for The Umhlanga Globe. I co-authored the 2008-2009 "Umhlanga and Surrounds Visitors' Guide". I have had articles published in The Ridge Online, Visi Magazine, Travel Gurus and have sub-edited mumsm@il from time to time.
I have a passion for travel and have travelled extensively. I have lived in Washington, DC, London and Brussels, and have travelled throughout the United States of America, Europe, the Middle East (Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Dubai), the Far East and Africa I feel that I bring a cultural sensitivity and understand to my writing with this experience, especially after taking minutes for the Peace Accord, a body set up to bring factions in Kwa Zulu Natal to the negotiating table and thereafter to participate in South Africa's first democratic elections in 1994.
