Show profile Hide profileJonathan Crossley began playing the guitar at the young age of six and first performed on stage at seven. Since then he has loved and worked with music in many different capacities, most recently the analysis of music as a logic system and emotional tool as a way to bring others together and to unite a group.
His has enjoyed a diverse musical career spanning from performer, educator, sound engineer, music director, as well as mentor to other's and an encouragement to many - and has seen many projects and people grow from strength to strength.
As an educator he has twenty years' tertiary education experience, in both musical and inter-disciplinary practice. He has developed curricula from undergraduate through to postgraduate levels and has developed facilities and curricula to support these.
He has more than five years' experience in music ministry, working with volunteer and semi-professional teams, having seen many members and employees enjoying significant growth and continues to do develop teams and individuals in his most recent appointment (January 2019).
As a practitioner he has performed across the world, released ten albums of his own diverse work, produced and recorded more than seventeen albums for others and created a range of television and radio jingle packages. He has also extensive experience as a live sound engineer for local (ZA) and international acts and has mentored a range of recording and live sound engineers.
