Show profile Hide profileStarted working on a contract basis at the George Municipality as a data-capturer in 2004. In 2005 I worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator at the Municipality also on contract. In 2006 I was requested to assist the Director of Health as a receptionist and secretary. In 2007 the Primary Health Care Section was moved to the Provincial Health Department and I was appointed permanently as a Secretary to the Head of Primary Health Care George Sub-district. In 2008 however I applied back to the Municipality and was appointed permanently as receptionist and secretary to the now Manager Social Services and Environmental Health. The section again divided into Environmental Health and Social Services. I stayed at Social Services as receptionist and secretary. till 2014. In 2015 I became the Admin Assistant to the Senior Manager Community Development and Library Services (including Sport Development and EPWP). I was promoted to this position because of my hard work and dedication and my skills in administration and communications.
