Show profile Hide profileI held the position of Assistant Marketing Manager at Utopia Dream Entertainment Alliance for almost a year.
UDEA develops and publishes online computer games. I wrote press releases, articles, reviews, online advertisements, classified ads, website content, synopses, Facebook posts, YouTube videos, in-game task information, Editing storyline, maintaining a google ADwords account, Wikipedia pages and pretty much anything that involves writing for our first release called Destiny of Ancient Kingdoms (DOAK).
When I started working at Utopia Dream Entertainment Alliance, there were around 10-20 players online. After careful consideration, we decided that we needed to release Destiny of Ancient Kingdoms on an international platform to find as many new warriors to fight in the eternal war between the three kingdoms.
After months of writing press releases, conducting in-depth research into Norse Mythology, adding much needed imagination to the storyline, and writing content for STEAM, We achieved over 4700 downloads and 1200 active players within the first two weeks of being on the STEAM store.
Destiny of Ancient Kingdoms currently has over 71 000 downloads and a steady player base of 1,764 active players at any given time.

Reason for leaving: I was retrenched because our team had reached the marketing targets that we had set out to accomplish and the company no longer needs marketers for the next 6 months.
