×For most of my business life I was in the Retail Furniture Trade, moving up the ranks from age 23 when I was a credit manager to Regional Manager of the Western Cape. During that time I bought my own recycling business "Carton King" which my wife and I ran for 15 years until we sold it in 2001.
1973 joined Montays Furniture which changed hands many times to become Montana Furnishers, then Harmony, then Joshua Doore, and finally Furniture Faire when I left in 2003.
2003-2005 worked as an estate agent for Home New
2006-2007 Managed the Golf Shop at The River Club
2008-2015 Business Partner at Tresso Trading until they closed on October 2015
