Show profile Hide profileSA Cricket magazine is an independent publication owned by Highbury Media. I started working at Highbury as a cricket intern in August 2016 and have since been promoted to Junior writer, followed by Content Producer in September 2017.
I've been strongly involved with improving the title's digital presence and social media presence.
I started a Youtube channel for the publication and I am in charge of creating and producing content for the platform and Facebook.
I'm actively involved with the sales team by creating new concepts and ideas which could be used to attract new advertising clients and satisfy current ones.
For the website, I write: columns, features, match report and news articles. I create videos for Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
I write features and Q&A's for the Print magazine.
I design and create graphics for social media.
I've interviewed the likes of Herschelle Gibbs, Allan Donald, Makhaya Ntini, Lance Kleusner, Shabnim Ismail, Geoffrey Toyana, Graeme Smith, Paul Harris, Pommie Mbangwa, Kagiso Rabada, Dane van Niekerk and much more.
Leading up to match days, I write a preview, shoot a video preview and create graphics to hype up the match.
On match days, I write the session reports (Lunch, Tea and Final) and if I am covering the game from the stadium I create fan cams.
