Kirsty has done media planning, buying , strategy and account management in around 40 African Markets with varying conditions, Languages, cultural difficulties and legislations. Kirsty then moved to the media owner side where she had experience in the Outdoor industry throughout Africa.
Kirsty created and Headed up the Out of Home solutions division for South Africa and Rest of Africa at Publicis Media. The division streamlined the OOH implementation process, drove innovation & consumer experiences and worked exceptionally close with all clients through the agency to maximize on their OOH strategy.
In the 2 years in the above mentioned role, Kirsty was nominated for an AMASA award in 2015 for a Samsung Gautrain Galaxy S6 campaign, a media first in South Africa. Kirsty was nominated in SMV Group agency media partner survey 2015 as the top staff member to drive partner relationships.
In 2017, Kirsty made a change in her career, and is currently an OOH specialist consultant who is now contracted to Publicis Media as of April 2017. Her achievements have only increased. Kirsty won a Gold AMASA award for Best Integrated FMCG campaign in 2017 for her creation and implementation of Lunch Bar New Wrapper campaign which took place in 2016. She is currently a part of the OMC (Out of home Measurement Council) advisory panel as well as, She is an active member in the OOH industry, ensuring she is up to date with all new developments, industry changes, municipal legislations, and new products.
