×Operations / Production Manager at Oticon SA
I enjoy the day to day chalanges of running the operations department of a fast moving medial device company.
The company is at the forefront of technological advancements, which require an ability to think fast and creatively, ensuring that we respond to any problem and or challenge that is presented.
With 9 skilled repair and production technicians, one production supervisor and a quality control technician, I am responsible for the supporting of all customer products.
This includes the order entry (both through the company's e commerce website and orders that are physically sent to the company) and invoicing team. Oticon has an inhouse despatch / receiving department as well as the outsourced courier service provider.
My previous experience has been with a large South African automotive security design and manufacturing company, as the electronic production manager. I held this position for 5 years.
Prior to this I was employed by a specialised electronic Access control and Building Management company. I was with this company for 13 years, working my way up from Field service technician, through to the production manager until I held the position of Operations manager.
My 17 years electronic manufacturing experience, National Diploma and post graduate management certificate, ability to prepare and monitor statistics has allowed me to work in varying industries.
