Experience includes full SDLC (System Design Life Cycle) solutions inclusive of networks, hardware, operating systems, software through to front end, inclusive of security at physical, data, system, device and user level.
I hold a Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries (NQF equivalent is a Masters in Corporate Governance) In the security space, this qualification enables me to fulfil at an executive level several key security and risk functions inclusive of: Information Security, Head of compliance, Risk Manager, Internal Audit. I am also the Management Information Systems (MIS) National Examiner for Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa (CSSA).
I also hold the following:
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
• CISM (Certified Information Systems Manager)
• TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
I am currently employed as Head of Strategy and IT Architecture - Wealth Investment Management and Insurance (WIMI) at Barclays Africa Group Limited, where I have been for 2.7 years. Prior to this I was employed by the Receiver of Revenue (SARS) as Manager Enterprise Technical Architecture inclusive of security working on enterprise projects for SARS and other government departments Inclusive of Customs and Home Affairs,
I have in the past held positions including Chief Technology Officer, IT Director, Enterprise Architect, Project Manager, Head of Strategy, Systems Integration Specialist, Company Director.
