I started with a question, "Why not? Why not be fair in my partnerships?" Soon I asked why not indeed? So, I started structuring all my partnerships in a way that empowers and rewards those that work the most. Most bankers called me a "fairpitalist" lol and declared it would never work. Okay! Let's find out, shall we?

I have given myself a goal to create 1 million decent jobs in Africa. I plan to do this through startups and other business ventures and partnerships.
I've been told it's impossible by numerous investors, but I say we all benefit from a well-connected Africa where all citizens are active participants in the economy. Where the hard worker is rewarded fairly for his/her work. Where technology is leveraged to augment human progress from food security, health, defense, education to climate change and stellar exploration.
It may not look so apparent at the moment, but Africa has the leading youngest population. That's power to prepare for. That's power that requires economic diversity and new business frontiers across Africa. All that needs people working on it now. That's why I say, Development is about people.
I have clarity, also, that it's not something I can do alone. So, when I come knocking at your door, do know you have a part in creating the Africa we want.
