Show profile Hide profileThe essential bit: I have a degree in Communications and a project based certificate in Project Management from USB. My husband is a Network Architect, so I am constantly informed of the latest developments in the computer field. Besides always hearing or having the latest tech at home, I have a knack for understanding programs and will play around just for fun. I enjoy Piktochart, Wix, Sketchup and programs on SEO such as Travic Travis. To be able to do translations for Freelancer.com I had to learn HTML in a day!
While my official title at R2H was Operations and Marketing Manager, in reality I was the Jill of everything. I handled the stock, logistics, records, bookkeeping, invoices, travel arrangements, printing of promotional material, liaising with suppliers and customers, researching new products and networking. It was only my husband (full-time employed) and myself, but I thrived at being constantly busy and involved in the building of the company till it was profitable and sold it to KTM.
The company I owned of which I am the proudest was New Frontiers. I knew the company did well financially, when I bought it, but there was room for improvement and it needed a few changes. I turned the company around and it was sold for a higher profit than what I could have imagined.
I am looking for a position where my contributions count and my efforts are appreciated - and hopefully a long-term commitment.
