• Assist in system filing of office documents and presentations
• Research and draft concept notes , Education profiles for proposed projects, visits and forums
• Assist with preparation for meetings, workshops and other appointments of the office
• Attend interdepartmental committee meetings on international relations arranged by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO)
• Provide general administrative, logistical and secretarial support by keeping records of incoming and outgoing correspondences
• Develop practical knowledge of South Africa's Foreign Policy
• Responsible for general administration duties including keeping records of official documents, drafting note verbales/official letters to Home Affairs for official passports and to DIRCO for visa note verbales
• Provide administrative assistance in International Relations Directorate with regards to caterings for meetings, booking boardrooms and parking for visitors and ushering visitors to relevant rooms
• Write letters, reports, submissions, briefing notes, and note verbales
• Assist in organising international visits for the Minister and Deputy Minister with accompanying delegation
