Previously: Manager: Organisational Development (HR included) - strategic HR planning and re-alignment of processes where necessary. Especially recruitment and vetting. Training and development of junior operational managers. Assist with the development of an HR information management system to facilitate better data analysis, better solutions to recurring problems, predicting actions, saving time and money by being more efficient in HR department - saving time and money. Streamline and implement policies and procedures, guidelines, consultation, grievance procedures and disciplinary processes. Dealing with unions, meetings and minutes with specific sectoral determination as guideline.
As a Skills Development Co-ordinator, I dealt with a number of SETAs, and ensured that our company (TIDASA) was accredited as a training provider, all staff where accredited as assessors, moderators and facilitators, and that various programmes where accredited with Services SETA, LG SETA and ETDP SETAs.
At Primeserv Stanford Business Colleges, I was a principal/manager of various face-to-face colleges, as well as a distance learning division. I had to deal with day-to-day operations, marketing, budgeting, operational support for facilitators, student queries, training of staff, standardisation of learning material, lecturing.
At the Free State Provincial Government, I was an administrative officer, dealing with the subsidies of welfare organisations, implementing the administrative rules and regulations as provided by subject matter experts. I had to monitor the expenses of all welfare organisations subsidised by the state, make sure that all administrative requirements were communicated to stakeholders, and do monitoring by way of inspections.
As an assistant provincial training co-ordinator at Afrox Training and Educational Services, I was responsible for arranging training with the client (principals of schools), and conducting training in various aspects of school management and general management principles. I was also responsible for reporting on training, and basic training administration.
At Woolworths I was an Assistant Personnel Manager, dealing mostly with HR administration, disciplinary issues, and training of staff.
At the Free State Development Board, I was an administrative assistant, dealing with HR administration.
