Multi Media (Print, Digital and Social) content specialist, writer, author, editor, publisher and Communications specialist
2004-2016 Primarily worked at Highbury Media in various capacities, including COO, Publisher, Editor, Editorial Director, Board Member and Multi Media (Print and Digital) Specialist.
List of responsibilities included overseeing editorial team of 100 (with 34 print publications and 25 digital properties in lifestyle, business and sport) and most recently focusing on the digital and social media component in building a multi media content agency offering and integrating editorial and sales.
Highbury is also a Media Partner to the South African Sports National Confederation (SASCOC) since 2008 and my company responsibilities included brokering of long term contract deal and also representing Team South Africa as head of Communications at international events.
2000-2003 Springbok Communications Manager and advisor to the Springbok coach.
Prior to 2000 – a career in media (print and electronic) that focused primarily on sport, in which I worked in South Africa, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Within South Africa I worked for Sports Illustrated, Business Day, the Independent Group (Argus and Cape Times) and Cape Talk Radio.

SA New Media Journalist of Year
SA Sport Journalist of Year, including feature writer of Year, reporter of Year and columnist of Year.
I have authoured five best selling sports books and for the last decade written a weekly column for Business Day Newspaper.
I have also worked for Turkish Television as their Cape Town-based Rugby specialist in 2016.
I consider myself a student and a leader in trends and in strategy in multi media content, encompassing digital and social and print (Magazine & Newspapers).
Key areas include editorial strategy, content audits, content strategy, implementation of strategy and also content production and creation.
