I am an open-minded and self-driven B.Consumer Science graduate, who just completed an Honours degree in B.Com Marketing at the University of the Free State. I have experience in basic administration, research and the retail industry. And I am looking for opportunities in the Marketing industry.
I have experience in sales; developed through working at the biggest bookshop in South Africa as a Bookseller throughout my University career, where I always managed to persuade clients to make purchases when the books that they wanted were out-of-stock. I achieved that through giving honest and in-depth recommendations of the books they might like without being forceful. I have also managed the social media pages of a small events company in Bloemfontein, where I managed to attract a total of 40 new followers on the following social media networks: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I worked as a Student-Marketer for the Agricultural Committee where I raised a total of R5 000 through sponsorships within a month of filling that post.
