Career Goal
My career goal is to obtain a respective position in Marketing/Promotions/Events/PR/Projects in preferably the following industries/area's although not limited to: Media (T.V, Magazines, Radio, Advertising) Health, Lifestyle & Beauty (Cosmetic houses, skincare, pharmaceutical and other), Hospitality (Large hotel groups, travel, conferencing, banqueting, Front of house), FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Exhibitions, Trade Shows, Market Research.
My previous permanent position was marketing / Branding & Events coordinator within the direct marketing industry (homeware) based in Randburg.
In my personal capacity I completed a Diploma (2010) in Advanced Makeup Design through Kohl Makeup academy as well as completed a certificate (2007) in Beauty & Fashion Makeup Artistry. After graduating, I under studied a well-known and sought after Makeup Artist based in Johannesburg in 2008 - Cicilia Kaufmann after which I opened and currently run a part time business - Shadow Magnet Makeup - offering services of Professional Makeup applications for various events, functions, shows and photo shoots. (2008 - current)
I have a diverse background enabling me to adapt quickly to any environment both corporate and other.
I am open to any new challenges and have an interest in various potential job opportunities varying but not limited to Marketing and Branding / Events / Promotions co-ordinator, Creative projects co-ordination, Training coordinator, Product & branding specialist - anything which would allow me to some extent in my daily function to use my imagination and creativity.
Professional Nature
I work well in an energetic environment as part of a dynamic team or as a self-disciplined responsible individual.
I am able to communicate with clients at all levels and strongly believe in dealing with each situation in a professional and assertive manner. I thrive on managing any task or project using my creative interpretation from inception to delivery. I have a rich imagination and enjoy conceptualising and implementing new ideas.
I have a strong sense of motivation and enthusiasm when given the opportunity to bring my ideas to life. I take great pride in everything I do and enjoy channelling this energy into viable opportunities.
I work hard and flourish in positions that allow me to take charge of my duties and responsibilities and that allows me to be creative. I'm at my best when utilising my organisational, creative and imaginative expertise - expressed through a close attention to detail
Area & Salary advice
I currently reside in the Westrand. Preferable areas include: North: Sandton, Northgate, Westrand. Although I am willing to travel if the job opportunity caters for travel costs.
CTC Salary Monthly: R25000 - pension/provident, medical aid, travel reimbursement when applicable/Bonus
