Show profile Hide profileI completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business administration at the UCT Graduate School of Business in 2010. Currently I work in tourism as a reservations consultant for Singita Game Reserves.
I am actively looking for opportunities in the Social Media Marketing. I believe this is the way of the future. Every company should have an on-line presence that needs to be maintained and monitored every day.
My strengths lie within analysing the bigger picture of a business process and seeing where problems lie. I am able to come up with a strategy to solve these problems and have leadership skills to ensure that a team is able to move forward together to solve any problems.
I am constantly looking for ways to challenge myself and am extremely independent. Consequently, I tend to manage a team in a similar fashion. I expect a lot from team members, but will not be constantly asking them how they are doing. I expect people to work individually and if they have an issue to advise me about it without me constantly having to hound them. I tend to lead by influence rather than instruction.
I tend to see myself as somebody that likes to achieve and am thus always creating goals for myself in order to set measurable objectives towards an achievement. I enjoy problem solving and planning. I love to make the connections between various processes and how they affect one another. It is a bit like building a puzzle and coming up with a clear vision.
