Show profile Hide profileI would very much love to use the experience I gained working as a Library Assistant to help Msunduzi Municipality library realize excellent corporate services when I was doing my In-service training of six weeks. I learnt valuable lessons on library environment equipment strategies that could be very useful to the district.
I obtained my National Diploma in Library and Information Studies at Durban University of Technology in 2015 and again I did my last In-service at National Archives and Record Services of South Africa which I started from the 22nd of June 2015 and finished on the 14th of August 2015. I worked two months in the Archives but I gained a lot such as cataloging and classification of information materials using DDC, budget maintenance and monitoring for, acquisition of all materials pertaining to the library. I then again worked at the Msunduzi Museum as the library assistant as a contract, that experience helped me so much in understanding of library and the museum environment. I am recently working at the Mzala Nxumalo Centre as the Library Intern, I am a passionate person who is able to communicate with the public using verbal and written communication.
