Show profile Hide profileI started my career as an intern at Ogilvy and Mather, where I was part of the o25 Graduate programme, During the course of my internship, I was placed at Gloo@Ogilvy where I assisted Senior strategic planners with campaign strategies and presentations. After a year of being at Ogilvy, I then moved onto working as an Online Editorial Assistant at Plaas Media. In this position, I assisted with publishing content on its news website (AgriOrbit.com) via WordPress. I also published content and maintained their social media pages. Another part of the was to write content, summarize existing articles and press statements, and also to attend agricultural events.
Currently, my job at CaseWare Africa involves planning and executing marketing campaigns and events; this includes work on digital campaigns, emailers, sms campaigns, and liaising with our digital agency on paid campaigns. I also organize the events calendar for in-house events and 3rd party events. I help manage our social media content calendar and all the digital collateral such as e-brochures, videos, and e-banners and liaise with our agency on anything digital related. My position also lets me assist in other general marketing duties, such as maintaining some aspects of our marketing budget monthly and keeping stock of our marketing collateral and branded gifts.
