I am a writer and enjoy all things literary. I am a recent communications graduate from the university of Johannesburg. I have gained an immense amount of experience during my studying. Worked with digital marketing, content creation, marketing strategy the list is endless. By beginning my bizcommunity profile this is my step to becoming a thought leader.
I am a recent communications graduate and whilst studying I have worked with brands such as ChildLine and The International Organisation of Migration by creating content do these brands, disseminating the content online and becoming brand ambassadors for these brands. Tho formed part of the practicals at University a way to train us to apply the theory a have learned over the 3 year course. I was also kick enough to have a won a Mtv competition to become a social media journalist. I had to tweet about Mtv programmes, had to be really creative, appealing content in Twitter. The competition ran for a week and lucky enough I got chosen. I had shodowed the digital team, attended press conferences, had the opportunity to use social media to tweet about my experience. Right now as a graduate I am in the process of looking for employment, it has been a challenge but in the meantime I keep myself busy with writing for the industry and eventually being a regular contributor for bizcommunity , I have also decided to enter a shot story competition, this I a way to polish my writing skilss.
