•Supporting Eskom with Developing the capabilities of the Procurement function to implement a new way of working that drives and sustains savings for Eskom into the future
•Consulting Tasks include defining problems, Structure Problems, Prioritise issues, Develop issue analysis and work plan.
•Conduct Analyses, synthesize findings, develop recommendations and drive implementation on the Eskom site.
•Main tasks include commercial Project/Programme Management, Solution delivery of the Group Commercial enablers work stream and implementation support.
•Define scope and obtain Group Executive approval for the use of consultants as per National Treasury guide.
•Independently evaluate if the use of consultants is justified and Ensures National Treasury compliance.
•Confirm the Budget availability prior to issuance of Request for Proposal.
•Translate the scope into a format that can be issued to the panel of service providers.
•Request service providers who have the necessary competence to submit responses to Request for Proposal.
•Submit all Bids received within tender parameters to end-users for technical evaluation.
•Ensure that all panel respondents are evaluated in a fair and transparent manner and obtain approval of consulting spend.
•Recommendations to PCC for approval of the most suitable service provider.
•Write and develop Bids/Proposal ToR (Terms of Reference)
•Coordinate pre-evaluation process
•Coordinate the evaluation process of Bid Responses
•Prepare and present recommendation report for Panel Control Committee
•Support Eskom team in the negotiations
