I have more than 7 years experience in managing staff in accordance with Labour laws and relations., and addressing performance management. I am skilled in motivating my teams through tough business times as well as managing change through effective communication.
I have generous experience in internal communications, through informative business newsletters, facilitating training on CRM systems, conceptualising and rolling out team development initiatives and awards events.
In addition to internal communication, I am adept in both written and spoken communication across all organisational levels, including beyond senior management, and extending outward to stakeholders and prospective project partners.
With marketing at the core of my commercial degree, I have spearheaded and all branding and marketing items, from business localised branding (business cards, pamphlets and promotional items) up to individual vehicle branding.
Through my experience, I have built and nurtured relationships with key media and PR associates, and have the foundations to manage services as well as formulate strategies that will emanate perceptions in a favourable light. Often coupling these strategies with compatible ATL advertising/promotions.
I have been solely responsible for managing and delegating enquiries coming off of the website, and often coordinating the communication content that is published to the site.
Among achievements in my career history, below is a highlight of a couple relevant items:
My ability to plan and execute large scale projects is demonstrated by my management of the successfully orchestrated National Library of South Africa (NLSA) launch event in Sharpeville, which hosted the MEC for Gauteng Department of Sports, Art and Culture, Ms Faith N Mazibuko as the keynote speaker.
The event was attended by as many as 500 invitees, around a delicious breakfast, held at the Sharpeville Public Library and was a major success for the NLSA, as it aired on national television, on Gau TV.
I have a generous level of experience in Finance, having started off my career in an Accounts Receivable position, which developed later into pure credit control. I have an admirable grasp on budget and fund management and I am well skilled on Excel for all my reporting and reconciliations.
