Sandile Khulu an experienced and seasonal Community developer has been in the working world for over 11 years with a specialized knowledge of Community Development and training administration. His hands-on approach to understanding individual and community needs goes beyond his experience as this is his passion. Sandile has worked for many organization and with different government institution in the past but what should stand out is Abraham Kriel Child care, a prominent NPO within the Gauteng region
Sandile worked as a Manager at the Community Skills Development Department. He's passion is to see young people developing and become entrepreneurs in their own right. Sandile strong initiatives has allowed him to research and initiated the implementation of technical training courses at Emdeni Skills Development Centre (Abraham Kriel Child Care). This is the first within area of (SOWETO )Zola, Emdeni, Naledi, Snake Park and surrounding arrears. He views himself as a strong negotiator and feels this is paramount for someone in his field. From a soft side Sandile feels that he has strong people skills, with the ability to listen and understand people's needs. With his strong initiative Sandile proposed and designed a student training track system, where the progress and development of each student at the Centre can be monitored.
One of many of his successful program that he has implemented is the Enterprise Development (ED) This program is meant to develop small businesses to medium and eventually to big businesses he has putted systems in place and in past 4 years of the existence of ED program at least over 15 small businesses was enrolled in the program and 2 agriculture companies are now Supplying DSD food bank with vegetables through Khayalethu. This great initiative and many more has seen Sandile being an asset to the organization. Sandile has also Social Entrepreneurship Certificate with Gordon Institute of Business Science, GIBS (University of Pretoria).
