I have experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Content Marketing & e-Commerce.
In my previous company, I was tasked to develop and implement 13 social media strategies, planning and content curation in support of the digital marketing strategy across all platforms i.e Facebook, Twitter, Facebook & YouTube for countries that we exported to. This includes the promotion of events in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. I created media, programs and products related to social media platforms.
I have worked closely with the CEO to develop the company's 3-5 year growth plan, including its positioning, messaging and metrics for success.
I was tasked with the following:
· Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
· Lead as the company launches several business units and services within a short period of time: manage various projects and moving parts, stakeholders, budgets and timelines.
· Create and implement systems for lead generation.
· Create and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
· Strategically map the company's stakeholders: understand who they are, what they require, how we can reach them, and how we should present our value proposition to them.
· Work with internal and external teams to give strategic input into campaigns that will solidify a thought leadership space for the company in a way that directly and positively impacts business growth.
· Partner with CEO on negotiating and managing discussions with partners and potential investors with a long term view of the company's trajectory.
· Build the company's Growth and Business Development team.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Good IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets and project management software.
· Initiative and good decision-making skills.
· Project management skills.
· The ability to self-motivate and set goals.
· Great organizational skills.
