Show profile Hide profileI have 13 + years' experience in marketing, sales and business administration, primarily in the medical, health and spa beauty industry and have worked with employers such as Vitality Fair Spa and IVOdent.
Currently I am employed as Sales and Office Administrator accountable for all administration, accounts, warehouse management, sales and distribution.
Previously, I managed a medical aesthetic spa. I enjoyed my role considerably as it was challenging to grow the business and to provide opportunities to upskill and develop staff.
I have gained broad expertise throughout my career and believe that I have strong business, sales and marketing acumen. I have experience in Sales & Marketing i.e. campaigns - online and digital, promotions, merchandising and display, advertising, retailing and competitor monitoring - using SEO; Event management i.e. fundraising, film and fashion; Business management i.e. growth and forecasts; Accounts - creditors and debtors; Client Relationship Management, HR - recruiting, leave, salaries and wages. I also have vast product knowledge in cosmetics, beauty therapy and medical products and have built sound relationships with doctors, nutritionists, personal trainers and therapists.
My expertise in fundraising and marketing for organisations such as Red Cross, SPCA, PETS, DARG, and the Blind Association of SA has also been a privilege. I enjoyed my role thoroughly as I was not only able to utilise my strong communication skills, but it also gave me the opportunity to showcase my empathetic nature for a cause that I am passionate about.
I see myself as exceptionally hard working and constantly set out to over achieve in everything I do. I am energetic, able to use initiative, need no supervision and strive to continuously maintain a high level of professionalism. I am customer-centric, resourceful, confident, dependable, and have strong interpersonal skills and business savvy.
