I am conscientious, responsible and enjoy team work. I pride myself on being articulate and personable and enjoy being challenged. I can successfully handle a wide range of functions using a combination of analytical, negotiation and organizational skills whilst maintaining focus in demanding work environments, under deadline and pressure conditions. I am constantly seeking new challenges and ways to transfer my existing skills whilst developing new ones.
I am still employed at Digital generation as a Systems Administrator also the Head of IT Department. I have continued studying for my IT Certifications and have gained intensive and extensive work experience in various IT aspects I am in excellent health, bilingual in English and Zulu and married with four children. I am passionate about my family and reading and enjoy surfing the internet, reading the bible.

Systems Administrator/ Head of Department
Managing DG Cape Town Network Infrastructure
Assisting with CRM, Fincon Accounting Application and Office 365 Admin
Configuring network changes, and applying it to the Servers and client machines
Assisting internal and external using Remote desktop /shell, putty and TeamViewer
Repairing Notebooks and PCs on hardware and software issues
Managing Active Directory- adding and deleting users accounts, issuing permissions and resetting passwords
Monitoring and managing Mimecast (unified emailing and backup system)
Doing Technical Support on all hardware and software that we sell to private clients and corporate companies. Liaising with suppliers on faulty items and recommend replacements and repairs using our vendors
Managing Company asset register; recommending and motivating staff hardware replacement for employees to management (Operations Director)
Being a (Lenovo Authorized Warranty Service Provider) I oversee calls /emails and logging claims to get parts and do break fix on Lenovo and HP PCs, Notebooks and Tablets for City of Cape Town, Neotel and Pick N' Pay.
Assessing Apple IPads and iPhones and sent them to Apple Repair Centre
Deploying Images (based on the client requirements (Old Mutual, Santam, Santam, City of Cape Town and MMI Holdings) using SCCM, Windows Deployment Server, Acronis deployment tool, Ghost, Dell Image Assist and Hard Drive Duplicator.
Being a Dell Platinum reseller, HP Service Centre and Samsung Service Centre; I make sure that all our client fault hardware is logged with us and we facilitate with Dell Support and HP support and Samsung Support
Compiling reports on weekly and monthly basis for Service Delivery Managers
Making sure employee's hardware is functioning to meet day to day demands
Doing Support on Novell console 1 and Ubuntu Linux for Juta
