Key to this was my ability to be a motivator as I began to recognise the effects words of encouragement had on people! I tend to be very aware of the emotional standpoints of others. This insight allows me to read people in a way that I can anticipate how they will react to certain situations. As such I pride myself on emotional intelligence and a respectful confidence when it comes to relating to people. As a result I am a leader and a listener.
I have always had a natural aptitude for creativity. I have an appreciation for messages and objects causing you to think or perceive an idea in a way that is different or creates humour. Therefore I was naturally drawn to marketing where I believe my ability to understand people and creativity could work hand in hand.
On the 28th of August I was retrenched from my position at Ultimate Sports Nutrition (USN). Having just turned 24, the majority of my employment experience thus far has been in sales. However, I completed my Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing management at the end of 2013 and I am looking for an opportunity to utilise my educational background more extensively.
I always strive to be professional in the workplace whether it is taking pride in my appearance, being on time or my general approach to people. One should always back their strengths as well as work on their weaknesses. As such I promote teamwork where I am readily able to ask for help and give it to those who need it in order to get a task completed. I have learnt the importance of being organised and planning ahead. I believe that success is dependent on effort and I feel like have the potential to reach the top of your organisation!
