My communications capabilities expand from digital management (production of content across various platforms), social media marketing, brand development and completion of detailed market research.
Here's a snapshot of what I could do:
Media relations and PR: worked closely with the media to generate positive coverage for the NMB Stadium (Port Elizabeth) highlighting events, appointments, CSR initiatives and seasonal promotions. Established positive relationships with local, and national journalists to maximize frequent and positive media coverage.
Project Management: development and implementation of the annual marketing plan (Meetings & Events); based on factors like business needs, budget, timelines and seasonality.
Campaign Management: worked on an array of tactical campaigns including #FillOurStadium, Summer Campaign, CSR, Events (ex/ concerts, festivals, sponsorship and barter agreements).
Digital Marketing and Social Media: directly managed, edited and/or directed online content. This included MBDA and NMB Stadium web-pages, social media, database management and acquisition.
Production Management: working closely with cross-functional departments, sponsors, partners, creative and PR agencies in developing collateral (signage, brochures, CI Manual); event and exhibition sponsorship and branding; giveaways and advertising campaigns (ATL and BTL); and off-site activations.'
I am a continuous learner and I'm currently in the process of completing my Digital and Social Media Marketing course with Shaw Academy. This course is assisting me with expanding on the knowledge that I possess, helping me further understand how to create perfect digital campaigns.
