I have experience in IT Operations Management role since 2008, 2 years as a Systems Analyst and a year experience in SQL Database Management as well as Help desk operations. I have working knowledge of project management practices, including strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of staff, management and customers. I work well with teams through collaboration across multifunctional teams. I am also responsible for vendor management and service level management of contracts in the business.
Currently I am the primary point of contact for the business regarding systems for business users and other stakeholders in context of IT delivered services. This includes collaboration with internal and external IT specialists to ensure that the systems support for identified business needs. . I am able to interact with cross-functional teams to achieve defined objectives and I also possess the ability to technically analyse problems encountered with these systems and use technical and collaboration skills to overcome them.
My duties include monitoring agreed SLA's and OLA's and providing regular relevant reports, participating in project initiatives and team meetings, the management of customer expectations and educating the user community in context of SDLC and change and support management processes. I provide Incident and Problem management as well as ongoing operational support.
