My role involves creating, editing, and maintaining programme metadata, schedules, synopses, genre classifications, and broadcast information to ensure an optimal viewer experience.
I work closely with channel providers, content operations teams, schedulers, and stakeholders to manage programme data, resolve scheduling discrepancies, and ensure content is published accurately and on time. I have developed strong expertise in content management systems, metadata governance, quality assurance, and broadcast operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Editing and maintaining programme schedules and metadata for television channels.
Ensuring accuracy and consistency of programme information across platforms.
Writing and reviewing programme descriptions, synopses, and editorial content.
Performing quality assurance checks on EPG data and broadcast schedules.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve scheduling and content-related issues.
Supporting channel launches, schedule updates, special events, and content changes.
