Show profile Hide profileAs a corporate maverick with a background in IMM Marketing & Business Management, I have a passion for Business Development, Sales, Marketing & Social Business Strategies (SBS). My out of the box thinking focuses on developing & implementing SBS, Sales & Marketing Campaigns to transform a brand into a successful Company. In today's 'Social Economy' sales and marketing have very much become synonymous. Strategies for the one have to align very strongly with the strategies of the other and as a unit they have become essential to business success. I aim on bringing together strategic insights, operational frameworks & practical approaches to transform brands into highly successful companies by using sustainable Sales and Marketing Social Business Strategies. I have also focused on writing Social Business Strategies & directing the branding, business model, marketing, sales & business development for established International brands such as Baby Box Swop proving that transforming a brand into a media company can be done primarily with the use of Social Media: the likes of Facebook, WhatsApp & Instagram. My many years of executive management experience includes: budget management, contract compilations/negotiations, staff management & strategic financial analysis to increase efficiency & reduce costs while maintaining a solid rapport with various business partners. Building various brand synergies is also crucial to marketing and sales success. From 1994 to present I have led many departments & managed many financial as well as marketing/sales budgets in order to fulfil board member requirements & meet budget & forecast objectives. I have made it a goal to work in different industries to broaden my scope & challenge myself opposed to sticking with the same genre. Even though I may not have worked in your exact industry each industry has brought me new opportunities to improve processes & expand my skill set & experience thus proving my versatility. I also carry over 10 years' experience as an Exec Company Director in the Minerals Industry where I was driven by challenges & out of the box thinking. As Chairperson of the Investment Analyst Society JSE Judging Panel for reporting for over 8 years I developed strong leadership & consulting skills along with extensive business management experience, liaison skills & the ability to adjust to market trends & interpret industry demands - all crucial in our ever changing digital ecosystem where customer opinion is crucial.
