Imports merchandiser/sourcing co-ordinator responsibilities:
Ensure on time delivery of imports to the warehouse, manage and influence the direct imports critical path, liase with overseas suppliers on a daily basis and ensure that they follow the Woolworths procedures, raise purchase orders on a daily basis for overseas suppliers on the RMS system, finalise purchase orders on the Trade stream system, send purchase orders to suppliers, amend purchase orders when requested by the buyers and planners, receive imports and load them onto the Quest system, keep track of orders by following up with suppliers regarding trim approval, samples approval, test reports approvals as well as AQL and MQA approvals to ensure everything runs smoothly and the order is released on time for shipment, authorise orders for shipment, liase with buyers, planners, technologists and buyer's assistants on a daily basis.do filing of new purchases raised as well as for amendments made on existing purchase orders, liase with supply chain and DC regarding purchase order queries.
technologist work responsibilities: analyze customer returns, load bulk and full test on quest, send samples for testing, analyze fabrics,load care labels and analyze test reports. measure garments and socks, load spec measurements, do MQA at stores, attend fittings.
Sourcing assistant Responsibilities:
Book in or load imported samples for quality audit and fittings on GIS, book in or load swatch or lab dip approvals on GIS, book in or load trims for approval on GIS, send product briefs, samples, price stickers and pack lots to suppliers, liase with overseas suppliers, do final checks for quality audit on GIS, send lab dip approvals to suppliers, track samples and lab dips/ swatches using a tracking report, administration: filling shoes and labdip/ swatch and trim approvals, liase with sourcing coordinators, technologists, buyers and managers.
