Tourvest makes appointments in line with BEE tourism charter

In an effort to confirm its commitment to the new Tourism Black Economic Empowerment Charter, Tourvest has appointed Sindi Zilwa as a non-executive director and Roberta Gumede as an alternate director. Tourvest's board now contains four non-white women including chief operating officer Judi Nwokedi and non-executive director Ramani Naidoo.

Zilwa also sits on the boards of Discovery, Aspen Pharmacare, AngloGold Ashanti, Metrofile, Consol, and Gijima Group. Gumede serves as the chief of staff and executive director at the Guma Group of Companies.
