Economists predict crisis in 2010
Economists of financial institutions in the country namely, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, have predicted that the Ghanaian economy would be hit by the global crisis in the year 2010.
They indicated that commodities such as food, which is being imported into the country from emerging markets such as Brazil, China, Korea and India, would be affected with the current global crisis, come 2009
