Globacom sponsors Ghana football

Nigerian telecommunications company, Globacom, has signed an agreement with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as its national team's telecommunications sponsor.

The company takes over from MTN, in a deal valued at US$15 million over five years.

Glo Mobile Ghana, which is yet to roll out its mobile services in the country, takes over the official telecommunication sponsor's tag of the Black Stars, following the expiration of the existing deal with MTN.
